▌ Cursor ▐
▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀
The Cursor is similar to cursors in some
other text editors, however, there are some
significant differences:
■ It may be scrolled off of the screen,
or may be buried under another window.
■ It may not exist at all
The Cursor is a pointer that is limited to
be within a Text Pane. Its purpose is to
indicate where text is to be entered. The
source of this text may be the keyboard,
or the MOVE or COPY functions. Unlike the
Arrow, the Cursor is used as a place holder
to remember a position within a file, while
the user moves around within this or any
other file.
The Cursor exists in only one window at a
time or not at all (for example, if the
Cursor window is closed──there will be no
cursor defined).
To place the Cursor, point to the position
desired with the Arrow and click the left
mouse button (or CTRL T).
