  4. The Cursor is similar to cursors in some
  5. other text editors, however, there are some
  6. significant differences:
  7.  
  8.     ■ It may be scrolled off of the screen,
  9.       or may be buried under another window.
  10.     ■ It may not exist at all
  11.  
  12. The Cursor is a pointer that is limited to
  13. be within a Text Pane.  Its purpose is to
  14. indicate where text is to be entered. The
  15. source of this text may be the keyboard,
  16. or the MOVE or COPY functions.  Unlike the
  17. Arrow, the Cursor is used as a place holder
  18. to remember a position within a file, while
  19. the user moves around within this or any
  20. other file.

  22. The Cursor exists in only one window at a
  23. time or not at all (for example, if the
  24. Cursor window is closed──there will be no
  25. cursor defined).

  27. To place the Cursor, point to the position
  28. desired with the Arrow and click the left
  29. mouse button (or CTRL T).
